A Texas judge rejects Obama’s so-called “transgender” directives to public schools.
Mat Staver: Just in time for school to start — all around the country schools are starting or have already started — a Federal Judge in Texas has now barred the Obama administration’s directive to all the public schools K-12, regarding the so-called transgender directive that was issued by the Department of Justice and the Department of Education. This is a case in which Texas and twelve other states challenged the Obama directive as unconstitutional and beyond his authority to enact such directives on these public schools.
Matt Barber: Well this ruling, it is exactly everything we have been saying all along. first of all, it’s just jaw-dropping that we would actually have a president of the United States try to issue a directive, basically to attach to that a threat of the removal of federal funding to school districts around the country. No authority, no constitutional authority whatsoever…
