MVP is what they call him. Humble servant is how he refers to himself. He is the baby faced assassin. Give it up for the most unashamed and unguardable player in the NBA. His name is Steph Curry.
As Christians we are to excel in all that we do. We strive for excellence and give all the praise and glory to God. If we are recognized for our efforts then we know who to thank. Regardless, we rest assured in the knowledge that our Lord and Savior is watching. We will do our duty with a grateful heart.
Laban had his Jacob; Potiphar his Joseph. A greater award awaits.
Too often the just are passed over as the crooked prosper. The bitter must come before the sweet.
However, every now and then a great one breaks through. Like Eric Liddle, they simply cannot be contained. Their exceptional gifts are put to extraordinary use. Their grace is His glory.
I will put my Sabbatarianism aside and give this man his due. It’s a topic for another commentary.
Tim Tebow they could afford to decry. But some skills are just too good to deny. May Mister Curry continue to amaze in the name of the Most High!
