What is a Hero? A Review of the Terrorist Attack on Benghazi Tells Us All we Need to Know

“When everything went wrong, six men had the courage to do what was right.  This is the True Story you were never told.

In just over a week, a new movie will be premiering across the country, and millions of people will line up for the opportunity to watch as the drama unfolds. What makes this upcoming film different from the others that will also be premiering throughout 2016 is that 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi tells the story of the heroes who fought to save lives during the Muslim terrorist attack on the Benghazi consulate that cost the lives of four innocent Americans.

Even today, not many Americans realize the dangers that a few brave souls embraced that fateful night in Benghazi. 13 Hours does its best to rectify this lack of knowledge by providing, in vivid detail, a record of the heroic actions taken by these brave men who were willing to ignore their orders to do the right thing.

The Clinton campaign is not happy with the upcoming film release because, while the movie is a-political and never mentions the names of Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, and though it does touch (in passing) on something about a YouTube video… the movie accurately portrays what happened during that terrible attack. In so doing, the Obama/Clinton narrative of what happened in Benghazi falls apart. See, while the Obama Administration continues to argue that no one ever told the military to “Stand Down,” those orders did come in loud and clear (and multiple times) to the men in Benghazi. Not only that, while Hillary Clinton likes to pretend that the YouTube video was a major point of discussion in the attack’s aftermath, the movie (using well-researched and verified sources) proves that our military, intelligence and government all knew almost immediately that this had been an Al Qaeda planned terrorist attack.

13 Hours provides a historically accurate portrayal of what the eyewitnesses saw, heard, said, and did. It lays bare the lies of the Obama administration and the Clinton State Department.

“While the world watched, six men had the courage to do what was right.

This is the True Story you were never told.”

But again, the movie isn’t about the politics of Benghazi; it’s about the heroic men who willingly put their lives at risk to save others.

Men like Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, who did the right thing, defied their orders, and gave their lives. They disobeyed direct orders to try to save the lives of those who had no way to defend themselves. “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” It’s not just about Woods and Doherty who sacrificed everything to save some, it’s about Kris “Tanto” Paronto, John “Tig” Tiegen, Mark “Oz” Geist, Jack Da Silva and the willingness of heroic men to sacrifice themselves to save others.

At the end of 13 Hours what we have learned is that true heroism is love. Love for your fellow man, love for those weaker than yourself, love for the man fighting beside you.

“For 13 Hours they had no support, but they had each other.”

Go see 13 Hours, remember the brave heroes who sacrificed so much for their fellow Americans, and remember this story in November when it’s time to cast your ballot for our next President.

The Obama administration and the Clinton State Department abandoned our people in Benghazi, then they turned around and lied to us about it. Hillary Clinton doesn’t belong in the Oval Office — she belongs in a prison cell.

But don’t take my word for it – listen to the men who lived the horror – and were left unsupported by their Commander in Chief and the Secretary of State.
