2015 Challenges and Expansions

Faith and Freedom with Liberty Counsel’s Mat Staver and BarbWire’s Matt Barber… An 11-minute weekday radio program discussing hot topics in the area of religious liberty, the sanctity of human life and the family.

2015 has been a very busy year. Many challenges, certainly, no question about that. But the Lord has ultimately expanded the mission and ministry of Liberty Counsel, and we want to be able to share some of these exciting opportunities and these exciting developments with you on Faith and Freedom.

Mat Staver: Matt, Liberty Counsel is involved in so many areas. Obviously we are a public interest law firm, defending and advancing in the courts religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and marriage and the family. But we also have lots of other educational and public policy opportunities that we’re involved with. We are also involved now with international humanitarian relief efforts through Liberty Relief International.

We’re taking the lead on the marriage issue, in so many different ways. Working with national leaders and constituents. But Liberty Counsel also has an expanding radio presence as well. Now Faith and Freedom, and Freedom’s Call are aired in greater areas than ever before. In fact, Freedom’s Call, which is our 60 second radio program, is aired now in over 500 radio stations around the country. In fact, even around the world too…

Matt Barber: And that’s just one small slice of how God is blessing the ministry of Liberty Counsel. And you mentioned Jamaica, you don’t even think about how God, when you’re faithful to God, stand firm and speak truth, in love, despite the arrows that are being shot your way — and they are, Liberty Counsel is enemy #1 as far as the secular left is concerned — and so the attacks that come when you stand firm and stand in the armor of God, He will bless you considerably. And so it’s been amazing for me in 2015 to watch how God has taken Liberty Counsel and expanded this ministry…
