God Has a Plan
“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” ~ 2 Peter 3:9
I’ve wrestled with my share of disappointments in this life, and I know I’m not alone. Those who seek to walk with the Lord are sure to come under fire.
Satan is our accuser. He will show us our shortcomings. He will rob us of our joy. He will distract us from our manifold blessings. He lies and deceptively pacifies.
How easily are the masses seduced. For many, it is easier to join the suppressors and agitators than fight them.
Evil never sleeps. They don’t fight fair and they always have a contingency plan. Where will this leave us?
If we our faithful, God will work all things for our good. He will not leave us destitute and forsaken.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” ~ Proverbs 3:5-6
You may be wrestling with sins of the heart and be convinced you will remain on the losing end. You may be robbed of your earthly goods and prized possessions. Possibly, you have been victimized and denied any form of justice, peace or restitution. How easily can we grow bitter and discouraged. Stand your ground. God is not finished with you!
If you are on the wrong team, even if it’s a ‘winning’ team, it is never too late to change sides. God has a plan. Don’t be caught on the wrong side of all that’s been ordained!
If you are seeking a politically aligned deliverance, you will need to step outside the status quo. Just remember that the eternal will always trump the temporal. God governs in the affairs of men, but they will ultimately be conformed to his sovereign will and providential lordship.
It’s not hard to steal a victory when the deck has been stacked in the favor of the deceivers. But where will they ultimately find themselves?
Those who manipulate the system for earthly gain will never find true happiness. Nothing is done in solitude. Our evil deeds, even our depraved desires, will find us out.
We all have blood on our hands. Better is it to be a vessel of mercy, rather than a vessel of wrath and perdition. Thankfully, Jesus is willing to make us clean.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~ Romans 6:23
