About that Muslim ‘Minority’ Who Support Terrorism…

avatar

A new poll conducted by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies finds that while most of the Syrian refugees have a negative view of ISIS (um, of course they do… otherwise, why would they be “refugees”), 13% of them have a POSITIVE view of ISIS!

ISIS-Poll

All together the poll finds that the vast majority of Muslims in the Middle East have a negative view of the ISIS fiends, but more than 1 out of 10 of them have a “positive” view of the terrorist organization. Even worse, for some 25% of the total population ISIS isn’t “all bad,” as 13% of the Middle East seems to think that ISIS is only “negative to some extent”…

The brilliant folks at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) hit the nail on the head with their analysis of the poll in regards to the Syrian refugees:

13% is a significant level of support. Republicans have raised concerns about the ability of the Obama administration to vet Syrian refugees to make sure ISIS terrorists are not using the refugee flows to infiltrate terrorists into the country. But even if the vetting process were perfect, it does not account for the more than 1 in 10 refugees who may not be ISIS operatives, but are ISIS sympathizers – and thus potential ISIS recruits down the line.

How do you screen for that?

The answer is that you cannot. What most conservatives have been saying for years is borne out by this poll – the majority of Muslims may not be terrorists or even terrorist supporters, but the number who are is staggeringly high. With more than 1 billion Muslim believers worldwide, if just 10% of them have terrorist sympathies we can extrapolate that the terrorists have over 100 MILLION supporters!

That is truly terrifying.
