Obama Administration Reticle Zeroed in on Evangelical Christians

avatar

Obama and his administration, from the first day of the first term, have been at odds with the biblical Christian worldview, mocking and decreeing ungodly legislation at will.

I submit that there has been a steady and calculated effort to demonize believers, Evangelical Christians, and to normalize Muslims. Add to that the President’s open hostility to Israel, in defiance of scripture’s admonition in Genesis:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:3

Consider that Obama, in an OFFICIAL capacity congratulated ISNA (Islamic Society of North America), an organization known to be an ally of the Muslim Brotherhood and fellow “mujahideen” in the “Grand Jihad.”

As I wrote in 2013:

The Muslim Brotherhood (also known as Ikhwan), founded in 1928 by Islamist Hassan al-Banna for the purpose of achieving a global, Islamic caliphate, or rule by Islam and sharia law, has listed 29 ally organizations — and ISNA tops the list!

Obama’s record of championing the murder of innocent babies, congratulating the evil entity Planned Parenthood and its CEO Cecile Richards, advancing sexual perversity and homosexual marriage, and being a chief apologist for the “Prophet” Mohammed and his false religion, adds up to a fierce attack on America’s Judeo-Christian heritage.

A couple years ago I read a heinous study published by West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center titled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right” by Dr. Arie Perliger. The study was breathtaking in its assumptions and thesis: Perliger builds a case that the true danger in America, the real terrorists, are pro-life, Evangelical Christians.

As I read page after page my disbelief mounted — how could such a work of rubbish come out of a venerable institution such as West Point? Who appointed Perliger? What was his background?

Some of what I wrote in my article, “Expert at West Point Think Tank Warns of the ‘Violent Far-Right’ “:

There is something tremendously unsettling about seeing the words “America’s Violent Far-Right” in the title.

In Challengers, Perliger attempts to sideline West Point’s time-honored motto: Duty, Honor, Country.

Dr. Perliger’s bio boasts, “…In the past decade Dr. Perliger has studied extensively issues related to Terrorism and Political Violence, Politics of Security, Politics of the Far Right in Israel, Europe,” and yet he seems afflicted with terrorist event amnesia.

Was it not fundamental Islamists who flew planes into the Twin Towers? Was it not Islamist Jihadis who bombed the USS Cole? Was not the number 1 terrorist in the world Osama bin Laden, the hero of Al Qaeda…one of the most evil, Islamist terror organizations in the world?

Farther in the study, on page 17, he posits:

The far right represents a more extreme version of conservatism, as its political vision is usually justified by the aspiration to restore or preserve values and practices that are part of the idealized historical heritage of the nation or ethnic community.

Dr. Perliger paints those who wish to “restore or preserve values and practices” of our national heritage (could he possibly mean The Constitution?) as extreme and violent. But it gets better. Next the good doctor gets into the real red meat – those “pro-life extremists”!

During 1979, for example, two well known speakers of the evangelical movement at that time, Dr. C. Everett Koop and Francis Schaeffer, consistently claimed during a speaking tour that Roe v. Wade“symbolize[d] the triumph of evil over good.”

Can he seriously be judging Dr. C. Everett Koop and Dr. Francis Schaeffer to be “far-right” extremists? Dr. Koop was one of our nation’s most highly regarded pro-life and pioneering surgeons, who accrued medical fame performing successful separation of conjoined twins on several occasions. Dr. Francis Schaeffer was one of America’s most highly esteemed Christian thinkers whose teaching of Apologetics will long endure. Both men were gracious and intelligent; both wholeheartedly pro-life.

Mull that over for a bit. An expert embedded in West Point wrote a 147 page study, painting Bible-believing Christians as a threat to the United States and the study was then foisted on the cadets to learn. I imagine it was also required reading for some in DoD.

Now, as recently reported by Breitbart:

Newly released documents show that the Obama administration was eager to blame the Benghazi attack on a different Youtube video before it eventually settled on the “Innocence of Muslims video.”

A redacted email sent to the Diplomatic Security Command Center, obtained Tuesday by the group Judicial Watch, reveals that the White House’s priority at 9:11 PM on the night of the attack was to contact Youtube about a “Pastor Jon” video.

“DOD is looking at various resources,” the email reads, followed by redacted information.

“S [then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton] expected to make statements one of which may confirm KIA, notification of next of kin is pending confirmation. DCM The Hague was to call OPS when completed. White House is reaching out to U-Tube to advise ramifications of posting of the Pastor Jon video,” the email continued.

The “Pastor Jon” video may be a video called God vs. Allah, which was produced by American pastor Jon Courson.

Here it gets chilling and personal. Jon Courson, pastor of Applegate Christian Fellowship, is a wonderful, Evangelical, expository preacher who just happens to be the pastor of MY pastor, Brett Meador, of Athey Creek Christian Fellowship. And Pastor Jon is also married to Brett’s sister, Tammy.

The video which the Obama administration was looking at was this one, with Jon preaching from 1 Kings 18:

17 And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?

18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord, and thou hast followed Baalim.

Jon continues through chapter 18 describing how the people followed the false god of Baalim, and how Elijah convinced the people who was really the true and living God.

Jon Courson has a long ministry of great integrity and faithfulness to God’s Word and God’s people. And yet, because he preached biblical truth concerning Islam — that it is a false religion — he was looked at as a possible scapegoat and explanation for the Benghazi terrorist attack.

If you’re curious about Applegate and its mission statement:

Applegate Christian Fellowship was established in 1977 for the purpose of glorifying the Lord and building up believers in Him. We do this by gathering together to Worship Jesus in Spirit and in truth and we find direction and purpose for our lives as we go through God’s Word.

We marvel together at God’s love, mercy, grace and goodness as we rejoice in the eternal and present hope that He has provided for us on the Cross.

And concerning my church, Athey Creek Christian Fellowship’s history, beliefs, vision:

Athey Creek started in 1996 when Brett Meador moved to Portland with his family. After 12 years on staff at Applegate Christian Fellowship, he sensed God calling him to start a church. The fellowship began with a small group of believers who met at Athey Creek Middle School to study through the Bible, verse-by-verse.

The Athey Creek Christian Fellowship is a body of believers desiring to know the Lord in an ever-increasing measure. We are a non-denominational fellowship associating with all who are in the Body of Christ.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We place high emphasis on the teaching of God’s Word, the Bible, that our faith may grow. (Romans 10:17, 2 Timothy 3:16)

From the start, the vision for ACCF has been clear and focused: we want everything we do to point to Jesus. For us, it means that we keep things simple. Acts 2:42 outlines the model of the early church, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” We take this verse to heart and make sure that we conform to that pattern in the various ways we minister.

What is taught by Pastor Jon Courson is straightforward, biblical doctrine. What is taught by my pastor, Brett Meador, is historic, sound, biblical doctrine. Both pastors, being expository preachers, preach through the Bible, verse by verse, chapter by chapter.

Both pastors are men of integrity who dearly love God (the true and living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) and people. Both men believe and teach sound Bible doctrine. Both men are good family men whose children are now also in ministry.

And these are the people — Bible-believing, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage — that Obama and his cronies paint as radical and dangerous.

Think about tyranny throughout history. A first step is demonizing the opponent. Obama has been demonizing Evangelicals for seven years.

The prophet Isaiah warned:

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20

The President and his administration call evil good and good evil on a daily basis.

Americans must begin to pray and ACT, to denounce every accusation of good people.

The current Administration disseminates lie upon lie: those of us who know the Way, the Truth and the Life must be bold and courageous.

I’m sorry. But the time for timidity is over: we must be Calebs all.

BarbWire Books is pleased to announce

Muslim Invasion: The Fuse Is Burning

Dr. Don Boys

Muslin Invasion: The Fuse is Burning! is an interesting, informative, and for the politically correct and infuriating read. Islam, Muslims, immigration, Jihad, Sharia, and the war against our civilization, culture, and creed is a present reality. Gutless public officials are selling us short either by complicity with the enemy or due to a doctrinaire commitment to idiotic tolerance ideology. Whatever the case, citizens must stand up against the invasion now before it is to late. The author suggests that the fuse is burning and the results will end in a complete upheaval of America and every free nation, unless we act now. Forget the lame stream media. Forget Obama. Common sense mandates, our very survival demands that we act NOW to keep America from going off the cliff; This book promises to be a life changing read.
