Presidential Debate Highlights
(1 min Audio Report – Faith2Action)
“I’m the… only one to take out half of a brain – although you would think if you go to Washington someone had beaten me to it.”
Those words from Dr. Ben Carson at last night’s Presidential Debate I attended in Cleveland.
Highlights included Governor Huckabee’s “trust but vilify”—regarding Obama’s Iranian nuclear deal where he said, “We got nothing. Not even four hostages out.”
Senator Rand Paul’s zinger to Gov. Chris Christie: “I don’t trust President Obama with our records. I know you gave him a big hug.”
Governor John Kasich had the home court advantage, but not everyone was cheering—Protest signs read, “No Heartbeat Bill, No Kasich!” Kasich’s rhetoric of inclusion didn’t include the equivalent of an arena full of Ohio children who will die because Kasich refuses to protect them.
