Texas Clerk Vows to Stand for Natural Marriage
(1 min Audio Report – Freedom’s Call)
A Texas elected County Clerk has publicly rejected the Supreme Court’s opinion on same sex marriage and vowed to stand for natural marriage. Referring to the opinion of five lawyers regarding marriage, the clerk said, “To keep my oath to uphold the Constitution, I must reject this ruling that I believe is lawless.”
Molly Criner went on to say, “In that Constitution the Supreme Court was given the authority to expound the law, not to re-write it or re-make it.”
Liberty Counsel has now offered her pro-bono legal counsel and defense.
