Kentucky Clerk Under Fire
(1 min Audio Report – Faith2Action)
Kentucky’s governor, Gov. Steve Beshear, told a county clerk of court that he must either issue marriage licenses to homosexuals or lose his job.
But Casey Davis said he would go to jail first. “If that’s what it takes for me to express the freedom of religion that I believe I was born with, I’m willing to do that,” he said.
Quoting Proverbs, Davis added:
“I’m going to be not wise in mine own eyes, I’m going to fear the Lord and depart from evil.”
When your Freedom of Religion comes under fire, what will you do? Ask Attorney General Mike DeWine to defend your freedoms by filing a motion to rehear the marriage case at 1-800-282-0515, that’s 1-800-282-0515.
