Charles Barkley Slams Ferguson Rioters

One thing you can say about former NBA star and current analyst Charles Barkley is that he is not afraid to speak his mind. Like many other celebrities, Barkley has spoken out about the decision by a Ferguson grand jury to not indict Officer Darren Wilson in the death of Michael Brown and the aftermath that has ensued. However, Barkley’s stance may come as a surprise to some. During an interview on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia with Mike Missanelli on Tuesday, the day after the decision was announced, Barkley was asked to share his thoughts on Ferguson. Missanelli asked Barkley why he thought black people didn’t trust the Ferguson decision. Mind you, this is a loaded question to begin with because the radio host has lumped black people together in one collective group who all possess the same feelings and reactions to the decision. Barkley’s answer undoubtedly surprised the radio host. Unlike others who have ignored the evidence and grand jury testimony as they perpetuate the ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ lie while destroying private property and endangering innocent people by blocking traffic and overtaking malls, Barkley thinks it is important to pay attention to the testimony given to the grand jury because that is what tells the true story.
