“…Your action is a direct assault on the religious liberty guaranteed by the First Amendment.”

Those words by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott regarding Houston’s lesbian activist Mayor Annise Parker, who issued subpoenas demanded that pastors turn over any sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or any mention of the mayor.

Texas Attorney General Abbott stated, “The people of Houston and their religious leaders must be absolutely secure in the knowledge that their religious affairs are beyond the reach of the government,” Abbott wrote. ‘Nothing short of an immediate reversal by your office will provide that security.”

Let Mayor Parker know how you feel about her unconstitutional demands at: 832-393-0955, that’s 832-393-0955.
