‘ISIS is Expanding’
U.S.-led airstrikes against ISIS “are failing.” That’s according to the British newspaper, The Independent, which says President Obama’s strategy in Iraq and Syria is “in tatters” as terrorists push closer to Baghdad:
America’s plans to fight Islamic State are in ruins as the militant group’s fighters come close to capturing Kobani and have inflicted a heavy defeat on the Iraqi army west of Baghdad.
The U.S.-led air attacks launched against Islamic State (also known as ISIS) on 8 August in Iraq and 23 September in Syria have not worked. President Obama’s plan to “degrade and destroy” Islamic State has not even begun to achieve success. In both Syria and Iraq, ISIS is expanding its control rather than contracting.
As ISIS expands, so does the humanitarian crisis in northern Iraq. Very little is being done to rescue people still trapped in the crosshairs of the brutal terror group. That’s why it’s so important for Liberty Counsel Action friends to continue standing with RUN Ministries.
RUN volunteers are caring for and protecting more than 26,000 Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities who have lost everything to ISIS terror. Can you help Eric Watt and his network of believers from across the Middle East provide desperately needed food, water, medicine, and shelter to 3,500 families in RUN’s “Community of Hope” refugee camps and safe houses?
Even if you’ve donated to RUN before, hundreds more refugees arrive every day. Eric and his team are rescuing Christians and other religious minorities caught in the ISIS crossfire who literally have nowhere else to go.
This barbaric terror group is still on the rampage. They’ve murdered, kidnapped and raped thousands of victims, while forcing more than a million Iraqis from their homes.
Please do what you can now to help Eric and his team continue their dangerous, difficult and lifesaving work.
Currently, 3,500 families — all in desperate need of clean water, food, medicine, and shelter — are under the care and protection of RUN volunteers in northern Iraq. You can help the more than 26,000 displaced men, women, and children seeking refuge in RUN’s “Community of Hope” camps and safe homes.
