Ex-CIA Chief: ISIS Attack ‘Sooner Rather Than Later’
Back in January, President Obama told The New Yorker magazine that ISIS was the equivalent of al-Qaida’s junior varsity squad. It appears that, once again, America’s “Campaigner-in-Chief” was way, way off. Last week, the former head of the CIA said an attack by the terror group on the United States or Europe is simply a question of “timing.” In an interview with CNN, retired Gen. Michael Hayden said:
ISIS is a very powerful local terrorist organization and, probably, a reasonably powerful regional terrorist organization, but it’s one that has global ambitions. And it has the tools … American passport holders, European passport holders. It’s expressed the intent (to attack the West). … It will come probably sooner rather than later.
The world has already seen enough ISIS barbarism and brutality to know they’re not some al-Qaida “J.V. team.” They’ve murdered men, women, and children by the thousands — beheading, crucifying, and burying alive many of their victims. ISIS also has kidnapped thousands of wives and daughters, selling them as slaves or using them for the terrorists’ own vile purposes. The threats of starvation, dehydration, exposure, and ISIS genocide are still very real in northern Iraq.
In northern Iraq, thousands of Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities are still suffering at the hands of ISIS terrorists. In addition to the estimated 5,500 Iraqis killed, more than one million have been forced from their homes.
Starvation, dehydration, exposure, and ISIS genocide are still a very real threat for hundreds of thousands in the region. This morning, Liberty Counsel Action received this update from RUN Ministries’ president Eric Watt:
Our network of believers has been able to rescue 263 families in northern Iraq. Our first ‘Community of Hope’ refugee camp is fully funded for the next 21 days and is providing food, water, shelter and protection for 100 families. But 163 families are still waiting for our future camps to be built. They’re sleeping in an open field with our teams standing watch, while supplies are purchased and construction continues.
Liberty Counsel Action’s friends are helping thousands who face kidnapping, rape, and murder at the hands of ISIS terrorists in northern Iraq. Your support of RUN Ministries is keeping Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities in ISIS’ path safe, protected, and fed!
RUN Ministries has trained elite teams that have been mobilized and have rescued hundreds of families. But much more must be done to help these men, women, and children.
Members of RUN’s network of believers in the Middle East are risking their lives to rescue and protect Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities.

RUN’s “Community of Hope” refugee camps are providing food, water, shelter, and protection from ISIS for thousands of displaced Iraqis. But as you read in Eric Watt’s update, there’s still much more to do! The need is still so great — and will be for quite some time.
Nearly 200 families are waiting in an open field until the second “Community of Hope” is completed. You can help those men, women, and children by clicking here to make your tax-deductible donation to RUN Ministries now.
Thank you for your generosity. God bless you!
