The American Flag is ‘Threatening’ to Muslims?
(1 min Audio Report – Faith2Action)
Duy Tran, of Webster, Texas, was told by his apartment manager to remove the American flag from his balcony because it was a “threat to the Muslim community.”
The apartment spokesman denied using the word “Muslim, but rather the American Flag was a threat to “other religious groups.”
Oh, that’s way better. It’s the freedom represented by that flag that allows the “other religious groups” to practice their religion. A right Christians do not fully enjoy in any Muslim nation.
Middle East expert David Rubin wasn’t surprised since Texas is home to about 45 Islamic charter schools and a rising Muslim population.
Tran is defying the order despite the compelling reason his complex is now giving: the cloth flag could fall and hurt someone.
