No More Wedding Cakes… or Religious Freedom (Audio Report)
(1 min – Faith2Action)
No Religious Freedom? No more wedding cakes.
A Colorado baker will no longer sell wedding cakes after the Colorado Civil Rights Commission ruled that the homosexual agenda trumped the First Amendment rights to Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech. Jack Phillips, who owns Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood Colorado, said he would “rather close down the bakery” than violate his beliefs. He said he had no problem selling cup cakes to anyone, but simply could not “participate in a same-sex wedding.”
The homosexual agenda continues to push Christians out of the marketplace while the Constitution’s First Amendment through the shredder. This battle isn’t about cake, it’s about freedom. It’s time for Christians to stand up and fight back with the freedoms we have left.
